A wonderful sale of furniture and works of art
Painted by Jules Laurens inthe 19th-century, the painting*Tehran, View Upon Arrival from Qazvin*will be offered at €4,000–6,000. Hanging alongside it on the gallery walls will be a pair of paintings by Pierre-Jules Jollivet, *Adam and Eve*and*The Adoration of the Magi*, two sketches for the enameled tiles adorning the façade of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in Paris (€3,000–5,000). Also worth mentioning is an early19th-century portico clock by clockmaker Jean Simon Bourdier, decorated with two women in classical style, which could fetch €2,000–3,000.
