Counter-titled in pencil in the lower right. There are many variations of this engraving; from 1874 to 1878, the artist progressively added remarques along the circumference of the central subject. 2) Porteuse de poisson/Indolence/[...] (Women Sketches). ca. 1890. Heliogravure on Japan paper. 225x285 mm. Sheet size: 320x500 mm. Titled in pencil in the lower right corner. Probably a collection of photo-engraved study sketches. Soft-ground versions of these “vignettes” would later be produced, as in the case of *Porteuse de poisson* (right) and *Indolence* (left). Pencil notes on the mat. 3) *Etudes de menus* (Menu Studies). Plance d’endemble. Drypoint on Japan paper. 275x310 mm. Sheet size: 470x335 mm. Titled in pencil in the lower right corner.
