Signed in pencil lower right, edition number in the center, and title on the left. Counter-signed and dated on the plate lower right. No. 2/50. The engraving is also known by the titles *Genziane controluce* and *Genziane in ombra*. Dario Palma, in his bibliography of the artist, chooses “Genziane controluce.” (1) The print is fully mounted on a mat. The print has several small spots, but they are visible only on the reverse. The plate is excellently inked, and the impression is rich and full-bodied.
