Fashion & Luxury
The first auction will be devoted to fashion and Couture jewellery, bringing together a selection of pieces that showcase the creativity and craftsmanship of the great fashion houses of the 20th century. Highlights include runway jewellery by couturier Yves Saint Laurent, emblematic pieces from the designer’s richly eclectic universe, in which accessories and jewellery played an essential role in defining his silhouettes. Among them is an imposing bib necklace by Robert Goossens, featuring resin cabochons in jelly-like shades of green, red, orange and blue, probably from the Autumn-Winter 1992/93 collection, estimated at €2,000–3,000.

IMPRESSIVE BIB NECKLACE
The auction will also feature an important group of jewellery by Céline, created around 1990 under the direction of Peggy Huynh Kinh, the French designer and stylist. These pieces offer a fascinating insight into a particularly interesting period in the history of the house, characterised by bold lines and an immediately recognisable aesthetic. The sale includes five pairs of clip-on earrings in hammered gilt metal, decorated with twisted motifs and centred with a ceramic half-sphere painted with stars against green, blue or purple grounds, estimated from €100.
Also featured are several pieces from Karl Lagerfeld’s Croisière collection for Chanel, crafted in quartz and silver and estimated from €100. In 2002, at the Café Marly in Paris, Chanel presented a highly strategic mid-season collection: the ‘Cruise’ collection. From that year onwards, under the creative direction of Karl Lagerfeld, the Cruise show became a regular fixture in the Chanel calendar.
Haute Jewellery
The highlight of the second auction will be an exceptional group of sixty pieces by Greek jeweller Ilias Lalaounis, estimated from €300. A major figure in 20th-century jewellery, Lalaounis developed a distinctive visual language drawing on references to Ancient Greece, ancient civilisations and the history of art. This particularly extensive selection offers an opportunity to discover the richness of his work and the diversity of his sources of inspiration.

Among the highlights of the second day is a gold and lapis lazuli bracelet, circa 1960, by the Soubrenie & Bois workshop for Boucheron, a supplier to the leading jewellers of Place Vendôme (estimate: €4,000–6,000). A 10.63-carat Fancy Yellow diamond is also expected to attract attention for its striking colour and substantial size.
