On 1 July, Audap & Associés will present the collection of Fabienne Pastor, a passionate advocate for contemporary Cuban art. Built over several decades through travel, encounters and artistic discoveries, the collection reflects the remarkable journey of a woman who made curiosity and support for artists a guiding principle throughout her life.
Having lived in India, Cuba and Mexico, Fabienne Pastor developed a particular interest in Cuba's contemporary art scene. During the 2010s, she met many of the island's leading artists and founded
La Luz gallery in Mérida, Mexico, helping to promote their work internationally at a time when opportunities abroad remained limited.
The auction brings together works by Carlos Quintana, Juan Roberto Diago, Rigoberto Mena, Roberto Fabelo, Carlos Guzman, Kcho, José Maria Mijares Fernandez and the collective Los Carpinteros. Their works reveal the many influences that shape contemporary Cuban art, from African and Caribbean heritage to Afro-Cuban spirituality, social issues and reflections on the island's recent history.

On 1 July, Thierry de Maigret will present a sale bringing together a classic motor car, prints, paintings and sculpture. At its centre stands a spectacular bronze by Barry Flanagan, alongside works by Pierre Bonnard and Mela Muter, as well as a historic motor car from the 1930s.
The star of the sale is undoubtedly
Monument to Letters by Barry Flanagan (estimate: €150,000–180,000), an outstanding example of the celebrated British sculptor's distinctive artistic universe. Created in 2005, during the final years of his career, this monumental bronze hare, standing almost 1.75 metres tall, belongs to the celebrated series that established Flanagan's international reputation. Since the late 1970s, the hare had become his emblematic motif, symbolising freedom, movement and imagination.
The sale also features several important twentieth-century works, including a richly textured
Still Life by Mela Muter (estimate: €40,000–60,000), whose expressive impasto reflects the strength of her painterly language. Collectors of modern art will also appreciate Pierre Bonnard's
Aquarium, painted in 1906 (estimate: €30,000–50,000), a delicate composition in which the artist already explores the effects of light, colour and transparency that would become hallmarks of his work.

Internationally renowned figures have also joined the initiative. Richard Orlinski has donated one of his signature sculptures,
Kong Baril Tag (estimate: €12,900) while Philippe Starck, in collaboration with Baccarat, has contributed a crystal jewellery holder engraved with a handwritten message by the designer himself (estimate: €850).

On 3 July, Millon will present a sale devoted to Orientalist and Africanist art, bringing together works that reflect the enduring fascination the southern shores of the Mediterranean held for European artists during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. From the bustling markets of Cairo to the souks of Morocco, from the mosques of Algiers to the waters of the Bosphorus, the selection invites viewers on a journey shaped by observation, light and the allure of distant horizons.
Among the highlights is
Souk à Marrakech by Jacques Majorelle, painted in 1955 (estimate: €30,000–50,000). Having settled permanently in Marrakech in 1919, Majorelle developed a distinctive technique using tempera and mixed media on black paper, allowing light to emerge dramatically from shadow. In this late composition, the lively atmosphere of the Moroccan marketplace is captured through a subtle interplay of luminous colours and deep contrasts, reflecting the artist's enduring fascination with everyday life in Morocco.
Alongside these major works, the auction includes paintings by several leading Orientalist artists, including Frederick Arthur Bridgman, with his
Mosque of Sidi Abd El Rahmane (estimate: €15,000–20,000), Jean-François Arrigoni-Neri with his vibrant
Moroccan Souk at Rissani (estimate: €10,000–15,000), and Théophile Poilpot's
Algerian Musician and Dancer (estimate: €6,000–8,000), an evocative tribute to the popular traditions of the Maghreb.

On 7 July, Audap & Associés will present an exceptional group of thirty-eight Paco Rabanne creations dating from 1967 to 1969. Originally trained as an architect, Paco Rabanne (1934–2023) revolutionised fashion during the 1960s by rejecting traditional fabrics in favour of unconventional materials including aluminium, plastic, paper, cut leather, knitted fur and industrial textiles. To realise these ambitious creations, Rabanne collaborated with a network of skilled manufacturers and craftsmen capable of developing entirely new production techniques.
Among them was the Lalet workshop, founded in Limoges in 1904. Under the direction of Raoul Lalet and his son Martial Jouandou, the company perfected innovative riveting methods that made it possible to assemble hundreds of geometric leather elements while preserving both flexibility and durability. Through their exceptional provenance, rarity and documentary importance, these creations shed new light on the technical collaborations that enabled Paco Rabanne to redefine the possibilities of fashion and leave a lasting mark on twentieth-century design.
