Pair of high stools raised on four tubular metal legs. They have a seat upholstered in white skay, adjustable in height and swivel. It is a sober and functional design, with a mid-century industrial aesthetic.

GOFFREDO REGGIANI (Italy, 1929-2004). Ceiling lamp "Trumpet", 1970s. Chromed steel. Six points of light. Presents marks of use. Measurements: 83 x 50 x 50 cm. The ceiling lamp in tender is distinguished by the dynamic set of six hanging structures in the form of inverted trumpet. The different heights of each of the axes confer uniqueness to the set and allow the light to cover a greater amount of space. Italian entrepreneur Goffredo Reggiani founded the company Reggiani Illuminazione in the early 1950s. He began production with decorative lamps for which he designed prototypes. His perfectionism quickly led him to hire renowned artists and architects to improve his creations, such as Gio Ponti and Richard Rogers. Reggiani received numerous awards attesting to the impact of his innovations in Europe.

This Melaina ceiling lamp was designed by Renato Toso and produced by Leucos in 1968. It has a thick conical glass shade, with a glossy black exterior, white interior and a transparent border around the end. This combination of colors gives a special, screened illumination. It is possible to adjust the angle of the lamp with the steel rod. Italian designer and architect Renato Toso is known for his mid-century modern Murano glass pendant lights and sconces. His designs have a retro chic appeal characterized by soft curves and a natural elegance. He founded the design firm Toso, Massari & Associates, with his wife, designer Giovanna Noti Massari. He was born in 1940 in Murano, Italy. Murano is a Venetian island with a long glassmaking tradition. Both Toso and Massari studied architecture in Venice and founded Toso, Massari & Associati in 1966. The studio has designed collections for the historic lighting manufacturer Vistosi, one of Murano's most prominent glassmakers. The studio has won first place in several design competitions and exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale, the XII Milan Triennale and the Trieste National Design Competition. Its work has been exhibited at the Louvre in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Palazzo Grassi in Venice.

Ceiling lamp. France, ca. 1950's. Bronze. Measurements: 37 cm diameter. Lamps with pulley and counterweight for height adjustment became popular in the 1950's, especially in avant-garde circles. The burnished and gilded bronze of the cylindrical counterweight and of the shade in the form of a saucer give simplicity, quality and elegance to the set.
