Holzschachtel, Format 19,4 x 28 x 6,2 cm. Deckel mit Doppelscharnier, Metallverschluss; auf den Deckel aufgeklebte Chromolithografie, die zwei Gebäude zeigt: Palais de l'électricité und Grand Palais. Die Schachtel enthält vierundzwanzig massive Holzwürfel mit einer Seitenlänge von 4 cm; auf jeder Seite ist ein lithografiertes Bildfragment aufgeklebt / fünf Leitblätter (das sechste ist auf dem Deckel abgebildet). [Französischer Artikel Nr. 2]. Ein Spiel mit Puzzlewürfeln zum Thema der Weltausstellung, die vom 14. April bis zum 12. November 1900 in Paris stattfand und mehr als 48 Millionen Besucher zählte. Mit den richtig angeordneten Würfeln lassen sich sechs Tafeln zusammensetzen, auf denen jeweils zwei Gebäude (oder Orte der Ausstellung) abgebildet sind: die beiden auf dem Deckel / Türkei, Tanzpalast / Russland, Bonshommes Guillaume / Vieux Paris, Schweden / Pont Alexandre III, Petit palais / Porte monumentale, Palais du costume (Kostümpalast). Der große Erfolg der damaligen Weltausstellungen brachte zahlreiche Souvenirs und Nebenprodukte hervor, darunter auch dieses interessante Spiel, das sich trotz einiger kleinerer Mängel (Außenseite der Schachtel etwas berieben, Führungstafeln etwas verblasst) in einem guten Zustand befindet.
