GESCHICHTE - GARROS Roland (1888 - 1918) - Fotografie mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift Foto mit Unterschrift des französischen Luftfahrtpioniers und Kampfpiloten. Er vollbrachte viele frühe Kunststücke wie die erste Überquerung des Mittelmeers mit einem Flugzeug im Jahr 1913. Er trat in die französische Armee ein und wurde einer der ersten Kampfpiloten im Ersten Weltkrieg. Garros wurde abgeschossen und starb am 5. Oktober 1918. Die Aufnahme zeigt Garros während eines Fluges auf der "Demoiselle", einem Flugzeug von Clement-Bayard mit 35 PS, auf dem Aérodrôme von Gayeulles im Jahr 1910. Auf Postkarte.
