Schreibtisch-Bücherregal aus der georgianischen Zeit. England, Ende 18.-Anfang 19. Jahrhundert. Mahagoniholz und Einlegearbeiten aus Zitronengras. Gebrauchsspuren. Restaurierungsbedürftig. Ein Griff fehlt. Verschiedene Glasfehler. Maße: 240 x 108 x 54 cm. Viktorianisches Bücherregal, aus Nussbaumholz, mit Zitronengras Intarsien in Form von Filets und Medaillons. Es besteht aus drei Teilen: einer Kommode mit großen Schubladen und Metallgriffen, einem Schreibtisch-Sekretariat mit Schubladen und Fächern, mit einer ausziehbaren Platte und einem Bücherregal im oberen Teil. Letzteres ist mit einem schönen Giebelstumpf in Form von zwei gegenüberliegenden Schnecken versehen, die das Ganze stilisieren. Die Glastüren sind mit feinen Rippen verziert, die ein attraktives geometrisches Maßwerkmuster bilden.
