Kopfstütze. China, Qing-Dynastie, Guangxu-Periode, 1875-1908. Handbemaltes Porzellan. Rest eines Exportsiegels aus Wachs auf der Rückseite. Es hat Verschleiß an den Stützen der Beine und einige Mangel in einem Fuß. Abmessungen: 25 x 32 x 13 cm. Antikes chinesisches Porzellankissen in Form eines auf Knien und Ellbogen ruhenden Kindes in Krabbelstellung. Das Stück folgt den Modellen der Song-Dynastie, obwohl es später ist. Kaiser Guangxu, auch bekannt unter seinem Tempelnamen Kaiser Dezong von Qing, persönlicher Name Zaitian, war der zehnte Kaiser der Qing-Dynastie und der neunte Qing-Kaiser, der China regierte. Seine Regierungszeit, die von 1875 bis 1908 dauerte, wurde weitgehend von seiner Tante, Kaiserinwitwe Cixi, dominiert. Guangxu initiierte die radikale Hundert-Tage-Reform, die jedoch durch einen Staatsstreich der Kaiserinwitwe im Jahr 1898 abrupt unterbrochen wurde. Nach dem Tod von Kaiser Tongzhi im Jahr 1875 setzte Kaiserinwitwe Cixi ihren vierjährigen Neffen als Kaiser Guangxu ein und verstieß damit gegen den Brauch der Qing-Dynastie.
