JAPON - XXème siècle Statuette en grès représentant Hotei (布袋), l'un des Sept Dieux du Bonheur (Shichifukujin, 七福神). Il est représenté en position allongée, arborant un sourire. Il tient un éventail au-dessus de son épaule. Sa robe est ouverte sur le torse, dévoilant son ventre rebondi, signe de bon augure qui lui est caractéristique. Réalisée en grès, la robe est recouverte d'une glaçure blanche craquelée q Signée sous la base. Dimensions : Hauteur 14 cm, largeur 31 cm, profondeur 19 cm. Avec sa boîte de rangement daté, signé et portant un sceau : Shōwa 28 (1953). Signé « Réalisé par Shūseki/Hideishi » (秀石作). (Usures, petit fêle de cuisson ... )
