426 - 吉杰：《布隆丁与西拉日》， 第5和第6幅画页（编号为3/1和3/2），采用中国墨水和水墨渲染技法绘制，这是一则未曾发表的连载故事，承接《年轻的翅膀》之后，原定于1942年10月在《Petits Belges》杂志上刊载。 在第二次世界大战期间，尤其是1942年，吉杰每周至少绘制五幅连环画（其中两幅为《唐·博斯科》，一幅为《让·瓦尔哈迪》，两幅为《布隆丁与西拉日》）。 尽管创作强度极高，连载的质量依然有保障，而“小比利时人”们也对这个故事着迷不已：故事中，布隆丁在瑞士（中立国）度假时，与朋友们一起沉迷于模型飞机制作， 这一爱好恰与《斯皮鲁》杂志上的“斯皮鲁飞行员俱乐部”专栏相呼应。 在《年轻的翅膀》之后，吉杰又创作了续篇，故事中布隆丁、卢多和米歇尔与布隆丁的父亲一同出现在工程师魏斯的家。 一名窃贼潜入宅邸，偷走了这位科学家设计的飞机原型图纸。 警方正紧锣密鼓地展开调查……由于《Petits Belges》杂志停刊，这一新篇章未能面世。考虑到吉兰在战争期间绘制的全部作品 （《唐·博斯科》、《瓦尔哈迪》、《斯皮鲁》、《克里斯托弗·哥伦布》……）很可能在1947年杜普伊出版社更换印刷厂时被毁，因此这两幅画页成为了这位伟大作家那个时期作品的珍贵见证。第6幅画页附有签名。 （略有褶皱）。尺寸分别为23.3×27.4和22.5×27.3。
