尼德-布德贝格教堂的圣餐杯 银制，部分镀金。高高的锥形杯身置于带有菱形杆的浮雕底座上，杯口边缘略微外扩。 杯壁饰有镌刻的卷草纹和果篮图案；杯口边缘下方环绕着一圈献词铭文：“I. HASSELS 将此圣餐杯献给尼德-布德贝格教堂：A.T.SCRIBA 牧师。” 标记：无钯印，倒置的“G”字样标记，饰有颤纹刻痕。高15.6厘米，重296克。 应为下莱茵地区，17世纪中叶。 西奥多·斯克里巴（Theodor Scriba，1646—1680）是一位新教改革派牧师，自1675年起在布德贝格（今下莱茵地区莱茵贝格市的一个城区）担任牧师。 这只圣餐杯显然是约翰·哈塞尔赠送给他的礼物，哈塞尔是布德贝格的一位富裕大农场主，在该教区担任教会执事一职。 斯克里巴牧师年仅34岁便英年早逝，这或许与下莱茵地区的教会政治冲突有关。 布德贝格教区是一个小型的新教飞地，当时必须在科隆选侯国境内那个充满敌意、天主教占主导地位的环境中艰难生存。 早在就职典礼时，斯克里巴就曾在一封信中抱怨，他遭到了与选帝侯马克西米利安·海因里希结盟的法国士兵——“弗兰斯·索夫卫队”——的“极其惨烈的殴打”。
