坎普曼，沃尔特。《思想者》。木板油画。右下角署名并标注日期“Kampmann 23”。画板尺寸：55 x 47 厘米。装裱后尺寸：70.5 x 62.5 厘米。 在主题和风格上与1922年创作的画作《戴面具的女孩》 （柏林美术馆 BG-M 3559/84）在主题和风格上都十分接近。作者沃尔特·坎普曼（1887-1945）是魏玛共和国时期柏林先锋艺术运动的主要代表人物之一。 这位身兼画家、雕塑家和版画家多重身份的艺术家自1919年起定居柏林，在那里他曾担任纺织与服装工业高等专科学校的设计班班主任，并于1921年成为“十一月集团”的成员。 1932年，他与保罗·克利、马克斯·贝克曼、瓦西里·康定斯基、奥斯卡·莫尔、格奥尔格·穆赫和莱昂内尔·费宁格共同创立了“Selection”艺术家团体，该团体于1933年被取缔。 1921年至1932年间，坎普曼不仅在“十一月集团”的展览上展出作品，还参加了“柏林大型艺术展”。 纳粹上台后，坎普曼被诬蔑为“堕落艺术家”，遂与家人退隐至朗斯多夫。他的大部分作品在第二次世界大战期间柏林遭轰炸时被毁。 - 木质底板略微拱起，有干裂痕迹，边缘部分有小块缺损；背面贴有“柏林大型艺术展”标签的原装黑漆木质轮廓画框，略有磕碰和磨损。 - 来源：格里泽巴赫（2005年11月第131场拍卖会），此后一直由柏林某私人收藏。
