一款纪念1912年P&O航运公司“埃及号”（R.M.S. EGYPT）沉船事件的银制打火机盒 带有1912年伯明翰为弗兰克·亨利·马多克斯（Frank Henry Maddox）打刻的印记，正面镶嵌一枚盾形珐琅牌，描绘了 “埃及号”航行于大海的场景——高1¾英寸（4.5厘米）；重22克。 该船是P&O航运公司为印度及澳大利亚航线建造的五艘姊妹船之一（其余四艘分别为 “印度”号、 “中国”号、 “阿拉伯”号和 “波斯”号），1897年竣工时，它们是当时船队中规模最大的新成员。 该船幸免于第一次世界大战（与 “波斯号”、 “印度号”和 “阿拉伯号”不同，后三者均遭鱼雷击沉），却不幸在乌尚特岛附近因大雾与法国船只 “塞纳号”相撞。 1922年5月20日，该船在20分钟内沉没，造成86人遇难，并损失了当时价值1,054,000英镑（约合今日7.5亿英镑）的金银锭。 到1935年，其中大部分已被意大利打捞船 “阿蒂廖号”打捞上来。
