乔治·惠勒：《达尔马提亚、希腊及东方之旅》。阿姆斯特丹，1689年 法文初版，小八开本，同时期全皮装帧，皮面略有磨损，第一卷书脊上端皮面缺失，内文洁净明亮，全套两卷，共含八十九（89）幅铜版蚀刻插图（包括一幅大型折叠地图、20幅小地图、 48幅风景图、16幅钱币图版、4幅铭文图版等，其中许多图版为折叠式），整体品相极佳，正文与图版均如初版般鲜活。 惠勒于1675/1676年与斯庞一同游历希腊。他们分别撰写了两部不同的游记，这两部作品均是17世纪关于希腊最重要的游记。 他们系统地收集了关于希腊古迹的第一手资料，并仔细观察了17世纪希腊的社会生活。特别是在雅典，斯庞与惠勒结合理论知识与实地考察，首次对雅典古迹进行了系统记录，因此被视为雅典考古学的开创者。 这张雅典地图是该城市有史以来绘制的第二张地图（仅次于几年前卡普钦会修士出版的那张地图），也是极少数展现1687年被威尼斯炮火摧毁前帕特农神庙样貌的地图之一。
