帝国风格沙龙桌 让-约瑟夫·沙普伊，布鲁塞尔，约1810年 高73.5/宽97厘米 桃花心木，配镀金青铜五金件。 带浮雕纹饰、灰色斑点的大理石圆台面位于简洁的饰带之上，由三根层压方形桌腿支撑，桌腿顶端饰有公羊头，底座为三段式，配有球形支脚。带有三处印记：CHAPUIS。经修复，有年代痕迹。 让-约瑟夫·沙普伊（Jean-Joseph Chapuis，布鲁塞尔 1765-1864）于1798年在布鲁塞尔创立了他的第一家工坊，并自1806年起向拉肯城堡（Château de Laeken）提供了大量家具。 他是首批采用革命性新工艺——层压胶合板——进行制作的精工木匠之一，此处可清晰看到该工艺的细节。关于诺伊维德伦琴博物馆藏品中的一张类似桌子，参见W.
