一件珍稀而风趣的木制根付，刻画了一位做鬼脸的表演者 无署名 日本，18 世纪，江户时代（1615-1868） 这件作品雕刻精美，刻画了一位蹲坐姿势紧凑的滑稽艺人，其身躯裹在宽大的长袍中，袍裾呈现出深邃的雕刻褶皱。他的一只手戏剧性地拂过光秃的头顶，面部扭曲成一种非同寻常的怪相：紧蹙的眉毛下双眼紧闭，下唇向上拉起，甚至盖过了鼻梁。 这种夸张的面部表情刻画得极为精妙，既展现了表演中的身体紧张感，又捕捉到了其中的荒诞幽默。底面同样别具一格，不对称的“彼目”由一个大圆形孔和一个肾形孔组成。木材表面呈现出迷人而温暖的包浆。 高度 3.1 厘米 品相：品相极佳，仅有轻微磨损和细微缺口。 这极富表现力的怪相让人联想到“百面相”（hyakumenso）的传统——这是一种广受欢迎的喜剧表演形式，表演者通过迅速变换夸张的面部表情和可辨识的角色形象来逗乐观众。
