History

Our story began in 1996 in the medieval town of Clamecy, Burgundy, when Françoise Deburaux was appointed as an auctioneer.

The practice, which had been dormant for several years, was revitalized and became the venue for over forty auctions a year. Although a Parisian by birth, Françoise Deburaux adopted Burgundy as her home; she gradually established a dual presence, expanding her professional scope to cover both the provinces and Paris.

In 2012, her daughter Anne-Laure Deburaux qualified as an auctioneer and joined the new partnership.

Together, they continued to conduct auctions in both the provinces and at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris.

In 2016, Laure du Plessis—an auctioneer since 1988—joined the firm, becoming a partner in 2018.
