75016 Paris, France
In 2008, Maître Guillaume Le Floc’h took over from Maître Pierre-Marie Rogeon; at that time, the firm was based at 16 Rue Milton, in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, and auctions were held mainly at the Hôtel Drouot.
In 2011, the Saint-Cloud auction house, situated at 3 Boulevard de la République, was opened. Since then, Maîtres Guillaume and Aimée Le Floc’h have been offering their expertise and knowledge of the art market to private individuals in western Paris wishing to sell their furniture and works of art. They also advise families on matters of inheritance and the division of estates. To support the growth of their business in Drouot and Saint-Cloud, they opened an office in Paris’s 16th arrondissement in 2015.
Each year, Maison Le Floc’h organises around forty auctions covering a wide range of specialities: paintings, drawings, sculptures and antique furniture, designer furniture and objects, contemporary art, jewellery and fine jewellery, luxury and vintage fashion, silverware, wines and spirits, numismatics, stamps, books and photographs, timepieces, musical instruments, archaeology, Asian and primitive arts, carpets and tapestries, and classic cars.
Thus, the auction house has been the Clodoaldian meeting place for the greatest names in the history of art, beauty and luxury: from Renoir’s paintings to Matisse’s drawings, via Picasso’s earthenware and Poliakoff’s gouaches; from bottles of Petrus to 18th-century silverware; from Ming vases to Daum vases, Lalique and Gallé, from Le Corbusier armchairs to Bugatti bronzes, not to mention Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery and leather goods from Hermès.
Paying particular attention to the heritage of Saint-Cloud, Maison Le Floc’h specifically promotes the town’s historic artists, thereby contributing to their renown. It is also in this spirit, and since its opening in Saint-Cloud, that it has supported numerous exhibitions organised by the Musée des Avelines.
