ALEXANDER Pater 4 manuscript sermons held in the "Cappellekerck" in Brussels. 1750-1751 4to (24 x 18,5 cm), 4 quires of 4 or 5 ff. each, on paper, in Dutch (browning, minor traces of use; title strip of "Concio" 1 loose, and hole in f. 1). Sewn, unbound. Nice set. 4 sermons in Dutch, with Latin titles: "Pro fidelibus defunctis" and "Tres conciones de animabus [!] in purgatorio". Each quire with painted illustrations (vanitas, depicting skulls, hourglasses, etc.), engravings, coats of arms, etc. Headings in red. The preacher calls himself "Pater Alexander Antverpiensis".
