SVEZIA, XIX secolo Orologio da pavimento in stile Biedermeier Struttura in abete impiallacciato di betulla e legno ebanizzato. La parte superiore, di forma trapezoidale, poggia su una base di sezione rettangolare che termina con piedini a sfera. Il quadrante in lamiera presenta cifre romane smaltate su fondo bianco; la platina reca la firma «Iacob Anders Pers son / Mora». A: 213 - L: 64 - P: 30 cm Danni e parti mancanti; movimento da verificare. La produzione svedese in stile Biedermeier si ispira ampiamente alle realizzazioni della Germania settentrionale, caratterizzate da austerità, forme geometriche e assenza di decorazioni. Si distingue tuttavia per l’uso dell’impiallacciatura di betulla e per la sporadica incursione di un linguaggio neoclassico, estraneo alla produzione Biedermeier viennese e berlinese.
