SERGI BARNILS (Bata, Guinea Equatoriale, 1954). “Serie: I giardini dimenticati”, 1996. Olio su tela di juta. Firmato nell’angolo in basso a destra. Titolo sul retro. Dimensioni: 130 x 130 cm; 134,5 x 134,5 cm (con cornice). Sergi Barnils ha studiato alla Facoltà di Belle Arti e al Centro d’Arte Contemporanea Sant Pere de Vilamajor, entrambi a Barcellona. Ha esordito nel 1984 al Centro Culturale Caixa di Terrassa e da allora ha esposto le sue opere sia in Spagna che all’estero. Nel corso della sua carriera, Barnils ha ricevuto il Premio Speciale all’VIII Concorso Provinciale d’Arte di Barcellona, lo stesso riconoscimento all’VIII Concorso Nazionale Giovanile d’Arte di Barcellona e il Premio Internazionale di Pittura di Tossa de Mar.
