Sul cartoncino di supporto, vecchio adesivo con la scritta: Ultima opera di Sebastian Habenschaden, disegnata a letto appena due giorni prima della sua morte; il suo ultimo pensiero dedicato all’arte e alla natura. Dedicato alla collezione storica della M. K. G. da L. Hartmann (Ludwig Hartmann, pittore di cavalli, 1835-1902). In basso a destra minima perdita di carta. Senza cornice, nel passe-partout del collezionista con iscrizione autografa. Provenienza: Cooperativa degli artisti di Monaco.
