Bellissima prova su carta vergata, del primo stato (su 3), prima delle correzioni e prima di qualsiasi iscrizione, rifilata sul bordo della lastra. Presenza di piccole macchie di ossidazione chiare. Piccola macchia chiara di umidità nell’angolo inferiore sinistro e un’altra sul bordo sinistro. Ampi margini del rame. Ex coll. Louis Deglatigny (Lugt 1768a). Timbro AABM (Lugt 3075). " L’incisione di Fragonard è il negativo di un disegno a acquerello un tempo di proprietà dell’incisore Robert de Launay, il cui padre Nicolas fu uno dei più affermati incisori dei dipinti di Fragonard; purtroppo, non si conosce l’ubicazione di questo disegno.
