Scuola francese della fine del XVII-inizio del XVIII secolo. "Allegoria della caccia. Rilievo di rame dorato. Misure: 19 x 13 cm; 28 x 22 cm (cornice). Questa lastra di rame dorato è caratterizzata da un virtuosismo nella goffratura, vicino alla tecnica del "rilievo schiacciato", una modalità di esecuzione rinascimentale che utilizza sottili strati di profondità variabile su una superficie piana per creare effetti di prospettiva e profondità, simili alla pittura. Sviluppato principalmente da Donatello e Lorenzo Ghiberti, questo stile utilizza variazioni estreme di rilievo, da figure con più volume in primo piano a sfondi appena incisi.
