Maschera antropomorfa «Bolo», etnia Bobo, Burkina Faso. Realizzata in legno denso scolpito, presenta un volto allungato con arcate sopracciliari pronunciate, un naso lungo e rettilineo e una bocca sporgente. Notevole decorazione geometrica a triangoli alternati sulle guance, fascia frontale finemente striata e alta cresta sommitale che conserva tracce di fibre. Bellissima policromia nei toni del marrone-rosso e del nero, associata a una patina sfumata e a tracce di usura. Presenza di piccoli fori causati da insetti xilofagi e segni di usura del legno.
