Attribuito ad Anton MIROU (1578 - 1627 circa) La morte dei bambini di Betel Tavola di quercia a listelli 70 x 102 cm Mancanze, danni e crepe nella tavola Il Libro dei Re narra che, durante il viaggio del profeta Eliseo verso Betel, diversi bambini lo derisero per la sua calvizie. Allora, in risposta, il profeta li maledisse in nome di Dio. Per punirli, dalla foresta uscirono due orsi che sbranarono quarantadue di quei bambini (Libro II, Capitolo 2, vv. 23-24). Il Museo delle Belle Arti di Arras possiede un dipinto di Laurent de La Hyre che tratta lo stesso soggetto.
