Grande statuetta raffigurante un gatto seduto (Bastet) con le orecchie dritte e attente e le zampe anteriori sollevate in posizione verticale. Nelle orecchie sono presenti piccoli fori per l’applicazione di orecchini. Con certificato di autenticità francese! Patina verde, fissata su piedistallo in pietra. Provenienza: collezione privata francese, acquistata nel 2017 da Chenel, Parigi. Acquistata da Pierre-Eric Becker, Cannes; ex collezione privata di Joseph Martin ed eredi, Nizza, acquistata nel 1962. Da collezione privata francese, ex Christie’s New York 29/04/2019, lotto 113 (aggiudicato a 85.000 euro, ma successivamente restituito in quanto potenzialmente non antico).
