Herbert Zangs 1924 Krefeld - 2003 Krefeld (attribuito) - Senza titolo - Assemblaggio/pannello di fibra dura. 28 x 26 cm. 37 x 35,5 cm (dimensioni con cornice). Firmato in basso a destra: ZANGS. Incorniciato in una cornice per oggetti sotto vetro. Zangs studiò dal 1945 al 1950 all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Düsseldorf, tra l’altro con Otto Pankok. Durante gli studi conobbe Günter Grass. A partire dal 1952 nascono le famose “Verweißungen” (ancora prima delle opere degli artisti del gruppo ZERO), con le quali Zangs entra nella storia dell’arte. Joseph Beuys lo definì un “fenomeno naturale vitale” e un “caos creativo entusiasta”. Numerose mostre personali e collettive, tra cui quella del 2004 al Museo regionale della Westfalia per l’arte e la storia culturale di Münster.
