Beuys, Joseph Fotografo: Sandro Becchetti (1935-2013). Joseph Beuys alla mostra “Contemporanea”, Villa Borghese, Roma. 1973. Stampa d’epoca su carta gelatinosa all’argento. 40,5 x 30 cm. Timbro del fotografo e annotazioni a matita sul retro. Becchetti, uno dei principali fotoreporter italiani del dopoguerra, ha documentato la vita sociale, politica e culturale dalla fine degli anni ’60 per testate quali L’Espresso, Il Mondo, Il Messaggero, L’Unità e Paese Sera. Il suo lavoro per Il Messaggero lo ha consacrato come uno dei più importanti ritrattisti della sua generazione.Scattato in occasione di «Contemporanea», la grande mostra multidisciplinare allestita nel parcheggio sotterraneo di Villa Borghese, questo ritratto ritrae Beuys con il suo caratteristico cappello di feltro e il cappotto bordato di pelliccia, mentre tiene in mano un ramo di eucalipto. – Una piccola ammaccatura dovuta alla manipolazione vicino al bordo destro; per il resto in ottime condizioni.
