[Benedetto XIII] Bolla manoscritta di papa Benedetto XIII su pergamena (790 x 510 mm). Ampia cornice decorativa floreale realizzata con inchiostro marrone. Sigillo pendente in piombo con l’iscrizione «Bene // dictus // Papa // XIII». Vincenzo Maria Orsini (1649-1730) divenne papa con il nome di Benedetto XIII nel 1724, assumendo così volontariamente lo stesso nome dell’antipapa eletto nel 1394 per sottolineare chiaramente l’illegittimità di quest’ultimo. Iscrizione sul retro di Lezineau, avvocato presso il Parlamento, che certifica che la presente bolla è autentica e originale, e inviata direttamente dalla Corte di Roma il 10 agosto 1729. Inchiostro sbiadito; strappi su alcune pieghe.
