Attribuito a Toussaint DUBREUIL (Parigi 1561-1602) Accademia di uomo di spalle da Michelangelo Penna e inchiostro marrone 37 x 12 cm Disegno con fodera, forma ritagliata, pieghe e piccole mancanze ai bordi, piccoli fori e piccoli strappi Schizzo sul retro della fodera con l’annotazione «Michelangelo» Il nostro disegno è stato eseguito sulla base di un disegno di Michelangelo conservato al Teylers Museum (inv. A.19). Si notano diverse varianti rispetto al disegno del Teylers, in particolare nella posizione della gamba e nell’inclinazione del collo. Il disegno del Teylers è tagliato sulla sinistra, pertanto in esso manca una parte del drappeggio visibile nel nostro disegno. Toussaint Dubreuil è noto per aver disegnato «alla maniera di Michelangelo», apportando lievi modifiche alle copie dei disegni originali. La tecnica molto fitta della penna nel nostro disegno è simile a quella utilizzata da Toussaint Dubreuil nei suoi disegni michelangioleschi
