Opera firmata da Alexandros Kagias. Tecnica mista. Un dettaglio dalla “Presentazione della Vergine Maria”. Fin da giovane, Alexandros Kagias si è formato nel laboratorio di iconografia di Nikolaos P. Georgiadis e successivamente ha approfondito le sue conoscenze sotto la guida di Christofanis Voutsinas. Dal 1972 al 1992 ha partecipato alla realizzazione di icone per numerose chiese a Salonicco e in altre regioni della Grecia settentrionale. Il suo lavoro nell’ambito dell’iconografia costituisce una parte significativa della sua carriera artistica. Tra le opere a lui attribuite presenti sul mercato dell’arte figurano anche composizioni religiose realizzate con sabbia cotta. Dimensioni: 122 x 82 cm.
