Piccolo in-4° Bradel, pergamena avorio, etichetta del titolo in marocchino nero sul dorso (rilegatura del XIX secolo). 28 + [VIII] + 100 + [VIII] + 315 pp. EDIZIONE ORIGINALE di questa celebre opera composta da Adam Billaut (1602-1662), soprannominato il «Virgilio con la pialla», uno dei primi poeti operai. Proveniente dalla biblioteca di Jean Seignette a La Rochelle, con ex libris manoscritto sul retro dell’ultimo foglio. Ritratto mancante; primo morsetto interno staccato; esemplare con margini ridotti e testo danneggiato ai fogli n. 1 e n. 2; alcune macchie di ruggine e iscrizioni a inchiostro. «Il ritratto di Maître Adam è spesso mancante» (Brunet, I, 46).
