Opera rivista e curata da Albertus de PLACENTIA (alias Alberto di Piacenza) e Agostino di Casalmaggiore. Tre pagine decorate con una grande xilografia di cornice (A1 v°, a2 v° e a3), di cui due con una grande figura (una nel frontespizio), e numerose piccole xilografie nel testo, spesso ripetute; iniziali; marchio dello stampatore sull’ultimo foglio. Piccoli difetti marginali restaurati nei fogli A2-A4, a1, x8, z5 e z6 (quest’ultimo rinforzato). FAMOSO INCUNABOLO, CHE RICORDA IN PARTICOLARE SANTA GIANNA D’ARCO (su 4 pp. [« De Janna gallica pulcella optima iuvencula» ff. da t7 a t8 v°]) nonché la falsa papessa Giovanna, che sarebbe la PRIMA OPERA STAMPATA A TRATTARE DELLE PRINCIPALI FIGURE FEMMINILI DELLA STORIA.
