Berger; proprietà privata, Svizzera Con il suo «Orgien Mysterien Theater» (Teatro delle Orge e dei Misteri), fondato nel 1957, Hermann Nitsch sviluppò un connubio radicale tra pittura, musica, teatro e azione rituale. L’artista austriaco è stato uno dei principali esponenti dell’Azionismo viennese e ha reso il processo fisico della pittura stessa parte integrante della sua arte. I suoi quadri realizzati con la tecnica dello spargimento e dell’azione sono nati dall’applicazione, dagli spruzzi e dalla distribuzione di colore su tela o tessuto. Nell’opera in questione, le tracce irregolari di colore bianco creano un contrasto suggestivo con lo sfondo brunastrino.
