Graubner Gotthard 1930 Erlbach/Sassonia - 2013 Düsseldorf Senza titolo. 1964 Acquerello Firmato e datato in basso al centro: Gotthard Graubner 1964 Incorniciato 18 × 12 cm (dimensioni del foglio) Con le sue ricerche sull’effetto spaziale del colore, Gotthard Graubner ha sviluppato una posizione autonoma all’interno della pittura astratta del dopoguerra. Dopo gli studi a Berlino e Düsseldorf, a partire dagli anni ’60 ha dato vita ai suoi caratteristici corpi spaziali di colore, in cui il colore acquista una presenza quasi fisica. Anche nelle sue opere su carta ha esplorato l’interazione tra strati di colore, trasparenza e luce. L’opera qui presentata, del 1969, mostra campi di colore sovrapposti dai contorni sfumati, le cui delicate tonalità di giallo e rosa si fondono l’una nell’altra creando un effetto spaziale e fluttuante.
