Quattro quadri di fondale Basilea (?), neoclassicismo, 1810 circa. Ritagli e acquerelli su uno sfondo bombato verso il retro. Le quattro singole immagini raffigurano le stagioni: primavera, estate, autunno e inverno. Su uno sfondo dipinto ad acquerello, le figure, gli alberi, il padiglione e un intero campo di grano, ritagliati dalla carta e dipinti in stile naturalistico, sono disposti in modo tale da creare un effetto tridimensionale. Ciascuna delle quattro immagini è incorniciata in una cornice originale in legno in stile neoclassico. Lievi segni di usura e di invecchiamento. Questo tipo di immagini scenografiche rappresenta una delle prime forme dei diorami, molto popolari nel XIX secolo.
