(Sampson Mordan II)), Rd.38283, a forma di guardino militare, con coperchio a punta incernierato e, sul davanti, una guardia smaltata del Black Watch Royal Highlands Regiment, con percussore sul lato inferiore, peso totale 25 g, altezza 6 cm. Nota di catalogo: Realizzato dal rinomato argentiere britannico Sampson Mordan & Co a Londra, questo astuccio per fiammiferi appartiene alla serie “Soldiers of the Queen”, molto ricercata dai collezionisti. Fu prodotto in vista del Giubileo d’oro della regina Vittoria nel 1887. Il Black Watch, 3° Battaglione del Reggimento Reale di Scozia, è un battaglione di fanteria storicamente rinomato, costituito tra il 1730 e il 1740 come reggimento regolare dell’esercito britannico.
