Scuola di Montparnasse degli anni ’20, forse Max JACOB (1876-1944) Ritratto del giovane attore Charles Dorat (1906-1997) con un libro di Spinoza in tasca Disegno a pietra nera, non firmato Altezza 42 cm - Larghezza 23,5 cm (visibile) DV Charles Goldblatt, detto Charles Dorat (1906-1977), è stato un attore e sceneggiatore francese, formatosi con Charles Copeau presso l’École du Vieux Colombier all’inizio degli anni ’20; recitò in *L’Atalante* di Jean Vigo e lavorò con Luis Buñuel Legato agli artisti di Montparnasse durante il periodo tra le due guerre, fu in particolare un caro amico di Max Jacob; la loro corrispondenza è stata del resto pubblicata nel 1994 Macchie, strappi e tracce di pieghe centrali
