La venditrice d’Amori. Cameo a forma di conchiglia raffigurante la venditrice di cupidi, montato su spilla in metallo dorato. Opera francese della metà del XIX secolo. Altezza 4 - Lunghezza 5 cm. La scena si ispira a un famoso affresco antico rinvenuto a Stabiae nel 1759, reso popolare nel XVIII secolo dal dipinto "La Marchande d’Amours" di Joseph-Marie VIEN (1716-1809), e successivamente dai bassorilievi dello scultore Bertel THORVALDSEN (1770-1844). Il gioiello è tratto da un disegno di Carlo Nolli (1724-1770), inciso su legno in «Le Antichità di Ercolano», vol. 3, 1762.
