Hendrick Goltzius - Plutone - 1592 Descrizione: Plutone, a figura intera, con in mano una torcia fiammeggiante, in una nicchia affiancata da colonne classiche. Tratto dai dipinti monocromi di Polidoro destinati alla parete del cortile nel quartiere del Convento di San Paolo, sul Quirinale a Roma, oggi denominato Monte Cavallo. Una delle divinità di una serie di otto divinità incise dallo stesso Goltzius. Firmata «Polidorus Inue» e a destra «HG. Sculptor» Dimensioni: 35,50 x 21,50 cm Condizioni: Eccezionale stampa ben inchiostrata, con tutti i dettagli e senza alcuna usura. Ottimo stato. Su un foglio di carta vergata più grande, di 44 x 34 cm, con restauro a regola d’arte del margine superiore.
