Set di tre poltrone. Italia, anni ’60. Struttura in metallo verniciato nero, schienale e fianchi realizzati con doghe in faggio e seduta composta da cinghie incrociate. Provenienza: studio di architettura a Roma. Dimensioni: 67 x 72 x 61 cm. Altezza della seduta: 36 cm. Set di tre poltrone dal design architettonico, caratterizzate da una struttura tubolare dal profilo continuo e da supporti a sbalzo. Le doghe orizzontali in faggio circondano lo schienale e i fianchi, formando una struttura avvolgente che trasmette un senso di leggerezza rispetto alla seduta a rete. La loro geometria aperta e la combinazione di legno e metallo le ricollegano allo stile razionalista. In queste poltrone, il legame con il razionalismo è evidente nella struttura metallica a vista, nella disposizione ordinata delle doghe e nella seduta a rete: ogni elemento svolge una funzione specifica e, al contempo, ne definisce l’aspetto.
