Thomas Shotter Boys Uno sguardo all’interno del Duomo di Ratisbona Acquerello su penna in tonalità di marrone. 33,2 x 23,5 cm. Provenienza Collezione privata tedesca. Il foglio, non firmato, è un’opera caratteristica dell’acquerellista inglese Thomas Shotter Boys. Sia la raffinata tecnica di disegno che il soggetto e la colorazione rientrano nel suo repertorio artistico. L’artista londinese trascorse gran parte della sua vita a Parigi, da dove nel 1842/43 intraprese un viaggio in Germania. È probabile che il presente disegno sia stato realizzato proprio in quell’occasione e che raffiguri una vista interna del Duomo di Ratisbona.
