Carstian Luyckx, Circolo Natura morta con frutta Olio su tela. 79,5 x 95,5 cm. Provenienza Galleria d’arte Bertil Rapp, Stoccolma, 1949 (attribuito a un artista sconosciuto). – Sotheby's, Londra, 8 maggio 1974, lotto 27 (attribuito a Barend van der Meer). – Stockholmsk Auktionsverk, 11–15 novembre 1975, lotto 969 (attribuito a Juriaen van Streek). – Christie's, Londra, 10 dicembre 1993, lotto 281 (attribuito a Carstian Luyckx o alla sua cerchia). – Collezione privata belga. Agrumi e grappoli d’uva su un massiccio vassoio di legno dominano questa natura morta, in cui su una pesante tovaglia verde sono stati inoltre collocati una brocca di terracotta e una tazza rovesciata. Verso il bordo sinistro del tavolo, a indicare il piacere e la dissolutezza, si trovano un bicchiere pieno di vino «à la façon de Venise» e del tabacco avvolto nella carta. Il dipinto di grandi dimensioni non è stato finora attribuito con certezza, come dimostra la storia delle attribuzioni proposte. È probabilmente di origine fiamminga, realizzato intorno al 1650 da un pittore della cerchia di Carstiaen Luyckx.
