VASSOIO “PULAT” IN TOLEWARE, PROBABILMENTE TEDESCO, FINE DEL XIX SECOLO ovale , fondo rosso con un grande pannello sagomato raffigurante una stampa ritoccata dell’Inner Alster ad Amburgo, circondato da un bordo dorato interrotto da quattro pannelli floreali con rametti di fiori nella parte superiore, tipici manici ad anello in ottone rivettato, lungo 60 cm Tali vassoi decorati, spesso denominati vassoi «Pulat», erano un oggetto indispensabile per qualsiasi famiglia che si rispettasse della borghesia emergente nel mondo ottomano e greco della fine del XIX secolo. Prodotti in gran numero in Germania e probabilmente anche in Francia, principalmente per l’esportazione nel Mediterraneo orientale, è raro trovare raffigurata una veduta così “locale”.
