Guazzo su carta 52,3 × 39,5 cm (20,59 × 15,55 pollici) Omaggio a *Il granchio dalle chele d’oro*, l’album preferito di Olivier Schwartz. In questa grande illustrazione umoristica e spettacolare, Spirou e Fantasio, smarriti ed esausti nel deserto, rimangono indifferenti alle esortazioni di Spip che cerca di avvertirli della presenza di una strada molto trafficata a pochi metri da loro. Splendida composizione con sfumature verticali che scendono dal blu del cielo alla sabbia gialla, nonché un contrasto orizzontale tra la parte sinistra desertica e quella destra caratterizzata dal trambusto del traffico automobilistico. «Lo slogan scritto sul cartellone pubblicitario a bordo strada significa “enjoy coca cola” in arabo. Mi piaceva molto questo aspetto del tutto paradossale di una pubblicità della Coca-Cola in pieno deserto.» O.S.
