TABAIERA DA REGALO CON L'INSCRITZIONE DEL BEY DI TUNISI SADOK BEY (1813-1882) Tabacchiera rettangolare in oro di terzo titolo (750 °/°°) cesellato e argento (min. 800 °/°°). Il coperchio è decorato con il monogramma calligrafico di Muhammad III as-Sadiq, più comunemente noto come Sadok Bey (1813-1882), bey di Tunisi dal 1859 al 1882, realizzato con diamanti incastonati su argento. Punzone Mercurio per l’esportazione (1840-1879) e del maestro orafo: Louis-François Tronquoy (inciso nel 1827) Epoca: XIX secolo, intorno al 1860. Larghezza: 9,5 cm - Altezza: 6 cm - Peso lordo: 239,8 g (Piccoli segni di usura; si allega una montatura interna adatta che funge da beauty case) Provenienza: – Prosper, marchese di Chasseloup-Laubat (1805-1873), uomo politico che fu in particolare ministro delle Colonie. – Per via ereditaria fino ad oggi.
