Ateliers di Sainte Radegonde Vaso a forma di palla Ceramica Modello Catherine risalente alla metà del XX secolo, circa 1940-1950 H 24,5 cm Questo capolavoro proviene dai famosi atelier di Sainte-Radegonde a Tours, noti per la loro stretta collaborazione con l’atelier d’arte Primavera dei Grandi Magazzini Printemps Esthétique & Design. Il corpo sferico sfoggia uno smalto intenso e vibrante con sfumature di verde turchese screziato e fiammato ed è sormontato da un audace decoro scultoreo interamente smaltato di bianco: un imponente collare traforato a forma di volute (spesso chiamati «bigoudis») si prolunga elegantemente sul corpo attraverso una sinuosa torsione in rilievo. Un contrasto cromatico e materico sorprendente, tipico delle creazioni più ricercate.
